Crane Operator

Position Overview

A full-time opportunity is available for a skilled and safety-conscious Mobile Crane Operator. This role is located in the Lincolnshire area and involves the operation of mobile cranes in a variety of environments, including construction sites and industrial settings. The successful candidate will play a key role in executing lifting operations safely and efficiently, supporting the daily functions of on-site teams.

Key Responsibilities

Operate mobile cranes in accordance with project specifications and industry standards
Perform pre-operation inspections and routine maintenance to ensure equipment is in proper working condition
Plan and execute lifts while following lifting plans and risk assessments
Coordinate closely with signalers, riggers, and site supervisors to carry out lifting activities safely
Monitor crane operations to detect mechanical issues or unsafe conditions, and report them promptly
Strictly follow health and safety regulations and site-specific safety protocols
Maintain accurate records of equipment use, inspections, and maintenance activities
Requirements

A valid CPCS or NPORS Mobile Crane Operator certification
Minimum of an LGV Category C driving licence
Strong awareness of site safety procedures and ability to work effectively in a team environment
Good communication skills and the ability to follow precise instructions
Previous experience operating mobile cranes in a construction or heavy lifting context is preferred
