Position Overview

We are currently seeking a Fire Damper Remedial Engineer for a full-time, on-site position based in London and the surrounding M25 area. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring fire dampers across various properties are fully operational and compliant with current safety legislation. Responsibilities include conducting inspections, testing and diagnosing issues, completing necessary repairs or replacements, and producing detailed reports. You’ll work closely with building management and stakeholders to implement corrective actions and enhance fire protection measures.

Key Requirements

Experience or training in Fire Protection, Fire Safety, or Life Safety systems
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting capabilities
Clear communication and solid interpersonal skills
Ability to manage tasks independently and work effectively within a team
Familiarity with UK fire safety laws and compliance protocols
Holding relevant fire safety or engineering certifications is advantageous
