About the Role
We are looking for a strong, experienced Office Admin Manager to take ownership of our fast-paced operations. This is not just an admin role — it’s about stepping up to lead, organise, and drive the day-to-day flow of people, materials, and information within a growing business.
This is perfect for someone with a sales desk, warehouse admin, or engineering admin background, ready to level up into a leadership role in a business scaling toward £10–15 million turnover.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the admin team with confidence and clarity.
Ensure materials and equipment are ordered accurately and on time.
Oversee and verify that engineers have the correct job details and paperwork.
Maintain strong access control — managing who comes in and out of the premises.
Own and refine administrative processes across departments to support efficiency.
Support scheduling, job planning, and operational logistics.
Act as the right hand to leadership — a safe pair of hands who makes sure nothing slips through the cracks.
Train and mentor junior admin or office staff to uphold high standards.
Ideal Candidate:
A natural organiser with solid admin or operations management experience.
Strong character — assertive, reliable, and capable of leading from the front.
Experience in a fire protection, engineering, or construction environment is highly desirable.
Hands-on experience from a sales desk, warehouse admin, or service coordination background.
Confident managing people and keeping systems and staff running efficiently.
Familiar with the demands of a scaling business (ideally £10M–£15M turnover) and eager to be part of the growth.
Excellent planning and prioritisation skills.
What We Offer:
A leadership role with the freedom to take ownership and make your mark.
Stable, growing business in a critical safety industry.
Supportive leadership team — but we’ll trust you to run the show day-to-day.
Opportunities to grow as the business scales.
